The law requires employers to take account of any risks where a pregnant worker may be exposed to any process, working conditions, or physical, chemical, or biological agents which might adversely affect the health and safety of the worker or their baby.
Our Pregnancy Risk Assessments are fully comprehensive and include:
- Potential Risks of excess travelling, continuous standing, constant sitting, any work in confined spaces, manual handling, any shocks or vibration, stress, passive smoking, etc.
- In addition the assessment will look at the possible risks of any women who are working alone.
- Future recommendations based on identified risks, and possible solutions.
These are ideal as either a supplementary service for Occupational Health departments, or for organisations without an OH service.
