Health & Safety Advisor/Trainer

My client, a highly successful construction company is looking to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor/Trainer to work on a permanent full-time basis. This role will be working within a large RC Frame and Ground works based organisation, assisting the Health & Safety Manager to ensure all Health & Safety standards are maintained. Travelling to client sites across the South East, London, Kent and Southern Home Counties, you will be required to monitor health & safety compliance during site visits, undertake site-based audits and inspections, deliver training where necessary and check safe systems of work. You will be working closely with the site management teams. The role is autonomous with the successful candidate managing their diary and site visits. Duties will include Complete Health & Safety inspections and reporting the findings. Working with the project teams to maintain and identify areas of improvement. Liaising and maintaining good working relationships with their clients, completing accident/incident investigations and reporting the findings. You will also support and deliver their ‘Worker Engagement’ behavioural training presentation and deliver In-house training courses such as Abrasive wheel training, CAT and Genny, CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)/ CITB Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)/ CITB Health & Safety Awareness Training. (Training can be provided).

You will need to hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Construction H&S (minimum qualification) or NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (desired).

Salary: up to £60,000 according to experience.
